Here, you’ll see how I translate complex challenges into actionable frameworks, build operational systems that empower teams, craft narratives that drive alignment, and deliver measurable results across enterprise initiatives. Each example reflects my approach to making work clearer, smarter, and more effective.

Strategy

  • Balanced Scorecards

    I used this approach to build the Design Strategy function from the ground up, establishing the frameworks and priorities that guided the design team’s initiatives and aligned them with enterprise goals.

  • Work Breakdown Structures

    I created WBS for the hybrid design team to align processes between Whole Foods Market and Amazon, establish clear SLAs, and identify inefficiencies—streamlining workflows and improving cross-team coordination.

  • Capital Investment Strategy

    As leader of global strategic initiatives, I identified opportunities to reinvent how capital investment was managed in stores. I developed a “bundling” strategy that enabled the team to accomplish 10× the work with the same resources. This approach, which I coined, is now regularly used at the executive level across worldwide grocery operations.

Systems

  • Project Central

    I partnered with operations to understand how the development team’s work impacted other teams and streamlined project tracking so data could feed into a central datalake. This system reduced the burden on Design to manually update stakeholders, unlocking the ability to scale and roll out multiple initiatives across hundreds of stores annually.

  • Data Mapping

    I created a comprehensive data map using Smartsheet to enable smarter, more strategic capital planning. By clearly linking initiatives, resources, and timelines, this system helped leadership see the bigger picture and make data-driven decisions with confidence.

  • PowerBI Dashboards

    I built Power BI dashboards to track project progress, forecast outcomes, and monitor team deliverables. This system provided leadership with real-time visibility, helping teams stay on track, identify bottlenecks, and make informed decisions across enterprise initiatives.

Storytelling

  • Business Reviews

    I prepared business reviews that distilled complex operational and financial data into clear narratives for executive stakeholders. These reviews helped align teams on priorities, highlighted key opportunities, and guided decision-making across enterprise initiatives.

  • Slide Decks

    I create slide decks that simplify complex concepts and showcase insights in an engaging, easy-to-digest format. These decks help teams align on strategy, communicate plans effectively, and inspire action across cross-functional audiences.

  • Automated Reporting

    I built automated Power BI paginated reports that provide leadership with up-to-date metrics and analyses, reducing manual reporting and ensuring teams have the information they need to act quickly and confidently.
